Cooking Class: Authentic Indian Street Food
In this unique, interactive cooking class, you’ll create delicious Indian street food dishes. Chef Pravy will teach you all about Indian street food culture, and she’ll demonstrate the special techniques used to craft this delightful cuisine. First, you’ll prepare spicy, Manchurian-style fried cauliflower with ginger and garlic. You’ll follow this with Indian potato patties, topped with fresh mint and tamarind chutney. You’ll also make chili chicken, cooked with peppers and onions and smothered in aromatic spices. For dessert, Chef Pravy will teach you how to prepare a divine carrot pudding.

It’s was a wonderful time. I booked this as a surprise for my husband’s birthday and he loved it. Chef Pravy was very welcoming when we first walked in and she kept an awesome vibe through the whole experience.

What a delightful evening with Chef Pravy, her wonderful husband and lovely guests! The space was perfect for a group of 6. So welcoming and a perfectly appointed kitchen to learn hands on! Chef Pravy is too humble - her food is amazing and she has mad cooking skills. Her first-hand/generational knowledge of Indian spices and dishes was so impressive. The wonderful scents and tastes of the evening complimented her outgoing personality and obvious passion for teaching. Every dish was a delight and we learned a ton. Hands down, the best cooking class experience we've had.

Chef Pravy has been cooking since the age of 16, learning her way around the kitchen while cooking for her family and helping out in her uncle's restaurant. Today, Chef Pravy puts her gourmet experience to use as a caterer, private chef and teacher, where she shares her love of cooking with her students. Her interactive cooking courses highlight the charm and bounty of authentic Indian cuisine, as well as other delicious global dishes.
