Cooking Class: Chef's Best Sushi Selections
Join Chef Ricky in this fun and interactive cooking class on advanced sushi-making techniques. You'll use fresh ingredients to create a variety of sushi selections. Start by preparing miso soup with dashi, tofu and seaweed. Next comes a variety of nigiri, including flame-seared Scottish salmon, yellowfin tuna with wasabi, hamachi with yuzu and toro with bluefin tuna. Get creative with a perfectly plated gunkan maki. End with a colorful dessert temari with fruit.

Chef Ricky you are amazing! This was our first cooking class ever and we were blown away! We can’t believe we actually made Sushi! This was such a fun class. We learned so much about how to make the proper rice, the endless ingredients we can use and different rolling techniques. We highly recommended this class!!! Thank you for such a great experience Chef Ricky!

Chef Ricky is a research and development chef and chef instructor bringing nearly 40 years of professional culinary experience to the table. He notes his greatest achievements to be the development and launch of multiple successful Asian restaurants and business concepts, as well as coaching an American Culinary Federation team to two national championships. Chef Ricky specializes in Pacific Rim cooking and is passionate about helping aspiring chefs turn their dreams into reality.
