Cooking Class: Cooking With Flames

Learn the art of flambé in this hands-on cooking class with Chef Emmanuelle!


Start by cooking shrimp scampi in a butter, garlic and white wine sauce and finish it with a quick whiskey flambé. Then prepare steak Diane seared in brandy and topped with a mushroom and shallot cream sauce, served with a baked potato and roasted carrots. Wow what a fun time. Very informative. She didn’t mind answering any questions, gave examples, provided valuable information and joked around when appropriate! Will most definitely take another course with Chef Emmanuelle and her Sous Chef!

-A Perfect Blend of Pasta, Pink, and Personality! I recently attended a pink pasta cooking class taught by Chef Emmanuelle Caumont, and it was hands-down one of the most enjoyable culinary experiences I’ve had. If you’re looking for an evening that is as educational as it is entertaining, this is it. The Atmosphere & Instruction The class lasted two hours and was held at a charming local tavern. The tavern staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, which set a great tone for the night. Chef Emma is a true professional—her expertise is obvious, but it’s her engaging, witty personality that really makes the class shine. She made the technical side of pasta-making feel approachable and fun. She was joined by her helper, Ron, whose endless stream of corny jokes kept the entire room laughing all night. The Menu The food was spectacular. During the session, we enjoyed: A fresh Caprese salad to start. Handmade Pink Pasta & Sauce: We learned to make this from scratch, and the results were delicious. The Surprise: To top it all off, Chef Emma surprised us with decadent, handcrafted chocolates she created herself. The Verdict I would definitely take another class with Chef Emma in a heartbeat. Whether you are a total novice in the kitchen or a knowledgeable home cook, this class is for you. It’s perfect for anyone who wants to learn from an expert, eat amazing food, and enjoy the company of fellow food lovers. Highly recommended!
