Cooking Class: Soulful and Aromatic Ethiopian Cuisine
Join Chef Nicholas to learn the recipes and techniques to make three Ethiopian classics in this cooking class!
Begin the class by making Berbere-spiced chicken and eggs to make a doro wat, a spicy stew with a vibrant spice blend. You'll also what spices, herbs and seasonings to add to make a classic Berbere spice blend, including paprika, allspice, cloves and coriander. Next, learn the technique to make traditional injera bread with teff flour, ghee and water, including how to knead and cook it. Finally, end the class on a sweet note by making plantain fosters with a decadent sauce made with butter, sugar and cinnamon on top of a decadent scoop of ice cream. Book this cooking class today!
