Cooking Class: Sushi Making With Chef Sarah at a Local Brewery
Under the guidance of Chef Sarah, you'll discover just how easy it is to make sushi by hand in this cooking class!
To start, you'll learn the recipe to make traditional seasoned sushi rice. Spread out the rice on nori sheets, then layer crab, avocado and cucumber to create a rich California roll. Next, assemble a spicy tuna roll with sushi-grade tuna and a homemade spicy sauce. You'll master the technique of using a sushi mat to roll up your sushi by hand. And practice your knife skills to cut it into pieces. Enjoy your handmade treats with soy sauce, wasabi and pickled ginger.
