we were really excited for the class on learning how to make dumplings. Shaun was excited and a good communicator. he was very personable and interesting. The class was more of a demonstration vs a cooking class. there were 18 people in the class and we started about 20 min late. we watched Shaun combine ingredients that made up thee dumplings but we didnt actually do any of that prep work or mixing. he then gave a demonstration on how to fold over the dumplings and make the edging however he did this demonstration walking around the room - I never got a clear view or more than about a 5 second glance at how to actually do the crimping (which I think is the critical part of making dumplings). he then handed out some of the dumpling mix and some potstickers and a bit of water and we were supposed to make our own. it was less than successful for us. there were four stations where we could actually cook the dumplings which didnt seem sufficient for 18 people each trying to make 3-4 or more dumplings. Chef Shaun was great but I didnt leave feeling like I could actually do it on my on at home.

ShefShaun was amazing! He was thorough in his explanations and made the dumpling-making experience both fun and easy to follow. His passion and patience really showed, and we had a great time. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone looking for a fun and interactive experience!

Chef Shaun was friendly, personable, and did a great job explaining the basics of sushi making. The instructions were clear, easy to follow, and made the experience approachable for beginners.
While I enjoyed the class and learned some foundational sushi-making techniques, it felt a bit shorter than I expected for a class advertised as two hours. That said, Chef Shaun’s positive attitude and engaging teaching style made it an enjoyable experience overall.
A good introductory class for anyone looking to learn the fundamentals of making sushi in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
