Cooking Class: Italian Dough Basics

In this hands-on cooking class, Chef Libby will teach you the basics of handling Italian dough, covering everything from yeasted bread for pizza to flaky pie crust. You'll start by crafting yeasted dough into a delicious pizza pie, which you'll then top with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and basil. Then, you'll learn how to make pasta from scratch, both with and without a machine. Chef Libby will also teach you how to prepare a homemade basil pasta sauce, which you'll serve alongside your fresh pasta. Lastly, the class will end with a bit of pastry dough exploration as you craft a seasonal fruit crostata for dessert.
