Learning a new culinary skill is an awesome team building activity, as it helps the mind think more creatively and can even help relieve stress. In this sushi-making lesson, Chef Elham will teach you the ancient art of preparing some of Japan’s most famous dishes.
To begin your meal, you’ll enjoy an authentic appetizer of edamame with spicy sesame flavors, pre-prepared by culinary expert Chef Elham. You’ll also discover the techniques for perfectly cooking sushi rice to just the right texture. Then, you’ll learn about selecting fresh shrimp, tuna or eel to expertly create flavorful sushi favorites like nigiri, California roll and spicy tuna roll. Finally, wrap up your sushi adventure with sweet Matcha cookies, made fresh by Chef Elham.
All cooking classes are designed to be social events that do not require any previous experience. Guests are welcome to purchase alcholic beverages from the venue to enjoy during the class.

We had fun and learned some helpful tips for making chocolate desserts. My sisters and I think that there should be a maximum of 4 students in a class because the kitchen is small.

Meet your chef
For the past two decades, Chef Elham has been sharing her passion for cooking with others as a private chef, caterer and culinary instructor. Most recently, Chef Elham has served as the culinary program director of America's largest hands-on cooking class program as well as a culinary instructor at one of Google's largest campuses. Her specialties include classic French cuisine as well as exotic Asian fare that entices and energizes the palate.
