Team Building Activity: Italian Pasta-Making With the Team

Spice up your next team building activity with this interactive cooking class hosted by Chef Lorenzo who will teach your group how to use traditional Italian culinary techniques. Everyone will get an insightful lesson and a gourmet, chef-approved meal of great Italian eats!

In small groups, your team will first learn how to make Italian rice balls coated in breadcrumbs, packed with beef, and fried to a golden crisp. Next, they will form tortellini shells from fresh pasta dough to make mushroom ricotta before moving on to a Bolognese sauce. Finally, your team will leave with a sweet treat of profiteroles piped with Chantilly cream and topped with chocolate syrup.

Chef Lorenzo began cooking at the age of 13 in his home country of Italy, and his grandmothers helped greatly with his home kitchen education. After finishing culinary school, he headed to Australia to expand his skills as chef de partie and sous chef. From there, he moved to America, where he became head chef at eateries in Miami and the Bay Area. But Chef Lorenzo's true passion is teaching others about the real Italian kitchen!
