Cooking Class: Traditional Thai Favorites
Join Chef Catalina for an evening of homemade Thai favorites in this interactive cooking class. She'll teach you how to choose ingredients and use traditional culinary techniques. Start with a green papaya salad and green curry and rice with lemongrass, Thai basil and coconut milk. Your entrée is chicken and shrimp pad Thai with noodles, tamarind paste and bean sprouts. Finish with the sweet taste of mango sticky rice.

With garlic, tamarind paste, fish sauce, lime, palm sugar and peanuts
Green Curry and Rice
With lemongrass, Thai basil, galangal, eggplant, coconut milk and bell peppers
Chicken and Shrimp Pad Thai
With noodles, tamarind paste, lime, fish sauce, egg and bean sprouts
Mango Sticky Rice
With palm sugar and coconut milk

Chef Catalina was great. She was well prepared, good food and good ingredients. She explained why we were preparing items a certain way and alternatives to less familiar or difficult to find ingredients. There was plenty of food. I highly recommend the class!
Meet your chef

Chef Catalina is a native northern Californian who discovered her passion for food while working in catering during her college years. Her extensive experience in the food industry includes roles as a lead cook, a catering manager, a special events coordinator and a cheese monger. Now, Chef Catalina brings her love of gourmet cuisine and her expertise in fine food preparation to her cooking classes.
