Online Cooking Class: Mini-Black Forest Gâteaux

Black Forest cake is a bakery classic that combines an array of flavors in a true dessert masterpiece. Chef Zach teaches you the secrets to crafting your own Black Forest mini gâteaux in this interactive virtual cooking class. You’ll create a light chocolate sponge base, whip up a silky Chantilly crème and concoct an almond-cherry soaking syrup, then assemble your gâteaux with Chef Zach guiding you every step of the way.

Chef Zach is very knowledgable about chocolate, and we enjoyed the class. I think the venue was not the best for this, as he had to move around a lot to try to get everyone to hear the presentation. Other than that, it was very good.

Chef Zach is a very knowledgeable chocolatier and teacher. This is my second class with him and he is always helpful. I even called him when I had an issue with a recipe and he helped me fix it. My only issue was the venue. It was hard to hear.
