Cooking Class: Pasta From Scratch

In this hands-on class with Chef Luana, you'll learn to master the art of creating handmade pasta to use in a variety of classic Italian dishes. 

Chef Luana will begin by teaching you the proper way to roll fresh dough to create two tagliatelle pasta dishes; classic tagliatelle and tagliatelle paglia e fieno. Then, you'll choose two out of three thick and creamy Italian classic sauces to serve on top of your plates of pasta. From heavy and meaty Bolognese sauce, and fresh and classic tomato sauce, to an earthy and light mushroom and sausage sauce, you'll discover new ways to prepare traditional Italian pasta dishes.

She is one of Italy’s precious few professional female pizza makers who utilizes wood-oven cookery. Chef Luana’s classes breathe new life into old-world recipes and traditional techniques as she passes her considerable knowledge to her students.
