Liz Roessler is a professional calligrapher based out of Boston. With over 30 years of experience, she has been infatuated with letter art ever since she could hold a crayon. Liz began her career doing calligraphy for events, menus, chalkboard signs, certificates and custom projects. Since then, she has taught hundreds of classes to individuals and companies including Saks Fifth Avenue, Sephora, Victoria's Secret, J. Crew, Sugarfina, Nordstrom and L’Oreal. She has provided custom calligraphy for clients such as Tiffany & Co., Coca-Cola, Harvard University, West Elm, Sotheby’s, Neiman Marcus and more.

I gave Liz a call with just a week of notice to see if she could teach a virtual calligraphy class before Mother’s Day for the women’s group at my company. She was great to work with from the very beginning and she made it happen! She got the 60 calligraphy kits in the mail right away and they included the most thoughtful touches, like having them addressed in calligraphy and including seasonal pattern cardstock. During the lesson, she was clear and engaging and brought such wonderful positive energy along with her great instruction! Thank you, Liz, for teaching us a new skill and making it such a great learning experience.

I can't say enough great things about taking a class with Liz! My class ended up being very small, so it was only me with another girl who had already been there. I basically got a one on one class which was amazing! I learned the basics and was so excited to go home and practice.
The day after, Liz sent me a few emails with links to calligraphy blogs, shops, PDF's of practice sheets and more.
Definitely would refer anyone to take a class here. Her works speaks for itself!

What a wonderful experience working with Liz! This was my first time trying calligraphy and I left class ready to practice on my own. Liz is full of wisdom and goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience. I highly recommend working with Liz, and will continue to do so myself.

These classes are amazing! I can't say enough great things about Liz! Liz makes it really educational yet entertaining. I took the a beginner class and absolutely fell in love with it. I can't wait to take another class. She teaches almost every day so there's bound to be a class that works for your schedule

I took Liz's class and it has been very helpful. I have dabbled in calligraphy but the nice thing about going to her class is she corrected some of the things like how I hold the pen etc, which is something you wouldn't know from reading a book. She's super friendly and her passion for teaching is evident! The small class sizes allows her to be attentive to each student which I was really appreciative of.
