Learn to really take on the “coastal grandmother” lifestyle in this hands-on cooking class featuring plenty of delightful seafood dishes. Chef Chris will provide an insightful lesson about the values of this trending mindset as you make a collection of no-fuss and impressive recipes. 

Enjoy delightful seafood dishes starting with buttery and herby clams casino. You’ll also learn to make your own homemade soup stock and use it to create rich lobster and corn chowder inspired by culinary queen, Ina Garten. Indulge in Rhode Island-style calamari, breaded and fried to a delightful crisp. For dessert, enjoy a warm blueberry crumble with spicy gingersnaps and wash it all down with sweet and refreshing berry lemonade.

Chef Chris was working as an Italian teacher at UC Berkeley when he discovered his passion for cooking. Ever since then, he has been following his passion of cooking and teaching with a focus on regional Italian cuisine. He even co-founded a culinary event business to highlight his skills. Chef Chris teaches an array of different highly regarded cooking classes, many of which are created for corporate teambuilding. He also currently provides walking food tours of Little Italy.
