It was a fun experience with my partner. Class of 25 when I booked said only 14 could attend, so I'm not sure how the others booked. Chef Chris was pleasant and gave a tutorial while everyone watched, and then you were on your own unless you asked for help. We received all the ingredients needed to make our 3 sushi rolls. Chef Chris did not check any reservations, so basically anyone at the venue could just join, because who would know, that's the only thing I didn't like.

The sushi making class was in a fun environment at the brewery. There was a large class when we went and seemed to be too many people for one instructor. Thankfully sushi making is pretty easy and self explanatory with a quick lesson that was provided so we were able to make out rolls. With that said, I would recommend smaller groups and/or having more than one person teach the class. Chris was very nice and managed the large class as well as he could have.

Thought I’d give some tips. First, start on time. Second, Have the items needed already set and given to guests. Waiting to have each item passed out was very unorganized. Or have an assistant. Interact with ALL your guests. We did learn how to make sushi but wouldn’t recommend.
