Dig in to the delicious culinary traditions of the American South in this in-person cooking class with Chef Ryan. You'll learn to prepare authentic favorites meant to soothe the hungry soul.
Begin this lesson by preparing famous fried green tomatoes using fresh produce and homemade breadcrumbs. Then, learn an expert's secrets to making perfectly juicy fried chicken. You'll create homestyle southern fried chicken served with freshly baked biscuits and sweet corn, a rural blend that makes this region world-famous. For dessert, bake up a traditional sweet potato pie, smooth and creamy and bursting with custard made from fresh sweet potatoes delicately seasoned with warm spices.
