Rice balls get a fun, hands-on twist in this kid-friendly onigiri cooking class.
Kids will learn how to cook perfect Japanese rice, then use a variety of molds to press and shape onigiri into cute designs. Chef Lucas will show the kids how to wrap their rice balls in nori and finish them with savory furikake toppings. They'll make classic tuna onigiri with Japanese mayo and soy sauce, plus a California-style version with surimi, avocado and pickled carrot. Easy, interactive and great for all ages.
