Cooking Class: Spectacular Sushi Rolls

In this hands-on sushi class with Chef Ricky, you will learn how to prepare three popular sushi rolls and more from scratch using fresh, high-quality ingredients and time-honored Japanese sushi-making techniques. 


Some of the sushi rolls you can look forward to crafting include a classic California roll, a spicy tuna roll with homemade aioli and a crunchy shrimp tempura roll with sweet soy glaze. Plus, you'll learn how to prepare a fruit sushi temari with cream cheese, strawberries, blueberries and kiwi for dessert!

Chef Ricky you are amazing! This was our first cooking class ever and we were blown away! We can’t believe we actually made Sushi! This was such a fun class. We learned so much about how to make the proper rice, the endless ingredients we can use and different rolling techniques. We highly recommended this class!!! Chef Ricky was wonderful! The course was very informative, it was so interesting to not just learn the techniques but also the history behind everything from the ingredients to the naming. He took his time explaining things to us. The food was absolutely top tier best sushi I've ever had! He uses excellent ingredients and made sure to let us know which ones so we can get them in the future when we make it on our own. He also gave us the sushi mats we used. Hygiene was maintained throughout as well from washing our hands, wearing gloves, and disinfecting our boards/tools in between different sushi rolls. All in all amazing course, highly recommend! Very fun, interactive, and informative. I feel very comfortable making my own sushi at home now! Thank you chef!
