Chef Janet was terrific. We did a dumpling making class as a family bonding experience. We had 5 kids ages 17, 18, 18, 20, 22 and four parents and we all had a great time. Chef Janet brings everything and we all worked around the island in our kitchen. We made 2 types of dumplings and a sesame seed / red bean paste dessert. So delicious and fun. You should arrange a class with Chef Janet!!!

After attending culinary school in the 1980s, Chef Janet deepened her culinary journey while living in Taiwan and Hong Kong, where she also began her career as a high school teacher. For decades, she’s been teaching a wide range of cooking classes, on and off, always with the same goal: to empower others through food.
