Learn the art of crafting pies of various flavors and styles from scratch in this engaging cooking class. Master the preparation of pastry dough made by hand and become fluent in fillings. Discover how best to combine mushrooms, spinach, feta cheese, onions, garlic and other herbs for a savory and scrumptious filling. Continue with a sweeter option of blueberry compote filling involving blueberries, lemon juice, sugar and cornstarch. Work under the guidance of Chef Lisa to craft hot water pastry dough. Then, take your skills home to impress your friends!

Chef Lisa pursued her deep-seated passion for food, cooking and nutrition by studying human foods and nutrition in college. With years of experience as an executive pastry chef at various resorts and hotels, and as a healthy eating specialist for a renowned grocery chain, she eventually launched her own culinary business. In her new venture, she guides individuals in exploring and discovering new foods, helping them improve their lives through better nutrition.
