Cooking Class: Mastering Classic Asian Cuisine

Take a culinary trip across Asia in this engaging cooking class led by Chef Micheal. You'll create five flavorful courses while learning classic Asian cooking techniques.

To begin the class, make classic gyoza dumplings filled with pork or vegetables and a ponzu sauce to dip them in. Next, make a beef stir-fry flavored with ginger and pepper.

Craft homemade dan dan noodles with savory ground pork and spicy Szechuan pepper oil and stir-fried vegetables as a side. For dessert, make purin, a Japanese-style panna cotta sweetened with sugar and caramel.

My daughter and I had a great time making Pizza and Cannolis with Chef Michael. The kitchen was perfect , the food was amazing, and it was just a really fun night out. The other couple that were there with us seemed to have a ton of fun too. There was a huge selection of toppings for our home made pizzas and they were so delicious. I made a white pizza with home made regatta cheese, some unique looking mushroom, home made mozzarella cheese, and cut up fresh Rosemary. My daughter made a traditional pep. pizza! Honestly, the cannoli's were the best I have ever had.. Overall a great experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening with Chef Michael. We booked this class as an experience to share with our adult son and his wife. It was a remarkable evening making memories together. We enjoyed a brief tour of the property, and my husband was even asked to share his musical talents on the baby grand piano. The salad that Chef Michael prepared for us was delicious. Everyone raved about the flavor of the homemade pesto. We had fun learning how to make cannoli, rolling them out, and frying them. As the dessert cooled, we learned to make pizza dough. We rolled the dough and each made our own pizza. Chef Michael taught us how to put the pizzas in the oven and then rotate them as they cooked. All of the ingredients were immensely fresh and flavorful. After our pizzas were baked, we filled our cannoli and enjoyed dessert. We were all fully satisfied, and Chef Michael even sent the leftovers home with us. While the price may initially seem high, the experience combined with the high quality food made it worthwhile. We will definitely contact Chef Michael the next time we are in town.
