Chef Misako was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of great information in terms of tips and tricks on how to make your own delicious sushi at home. She was kind and explained the value and importance of meal presentation as well and gave the class extra I was not expecting such as miso soup, mochi, and green tea. My only criticism has nothing to do with Chef Misako, but where the class took place was an odd set up. It was in a bar/restaurant where the students were separated from her so I had a hard time following her and seeing what she was doing. Overall a great experience.

Hands down the most fun I’ve had in a cooking class! Misako’s guidance was easy to follow, and the results were delicious. Bonus points for the matcha tea and her DJ-style sushi rolling soundtrack!
