The class was quite entertaining! I picked up some techniques and skills I’ve never had before in the kitchen. Don’t rush the roll like I did, or it will pour out of the bottom :)

Chef Misako was very good and taught us how to make different types of sushi and the different sauces and about the vegetables and types of fish and seafood. You can use along with a few Americanized things if you so choose.

We had an excellent time today at Chef Misako‘s sushi class!!! She is extremely knowledgeable, talented, and funny. Chef Misako took us through everything we needed to know to make sushi rolls Actually believe I can do it at home now!!! Highly recommend you take one of her classes :)

This was our first cooking class, and I'll say Chef Misako is the standard. I knew it was going to be fun, but she has a personality that moves the room. She makes learning fun, and we were laughing the entire time. Misako, thank you for your knowledge and empowering us with a skill we can bring to our own game night. Well will exclusively be on the lookout for more classes taught by you❤️

Awesome class! Chef Misako’s pop-up class was informative, high-energy and just plain fun. 2 1/2 hours went by in a snap, and by the end, we were rolling sushi like masters! Thank you, Chef Misako for a great experience. Can’t wait to take another class with you!

Chef Misako was amazing! She is funny and talented! We had a great mom daughter date! Place it’s hosted at looks a little shady outside (Blue Ox Tavern on Sahara) but the inside was nice and staff was great! Definitely recommended!

Chef Misako was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of great information in terms of tips and tricks on how to make your own delicious sushi at home. She was kind and explained the value and importance of meal presentation as well and gave the class extra I was not expecting such as miso soup, mochi, and green tea. My only criticism has nothing to do with Chef Misako, but where the class took place was an odd set up. It was in a bar/restaurant where the students were separated from her so I had a hard time following her and seeing what she was doing. Overall a great experience.
