Team Building Activity: Pasta Duel: Master the Art of Fresh Pasta
Learn the art of making fresh pasta in this fun team building activity led by Chef Catalina. Craft unique pasta dishes, collaborate with your team and compete to see who can make the most brag-worthy dish in the room.
Chef Catalina will teach everyone the basics of pasta-making and she'll demonstrate how to make two staple pasta sauces. After that, the team will split into groups to compete! Using their individual strengths, teamwork and a tantalizing variety of topping options, each group will create their own creative pasta dish. Dishes will be judged on creativity, appearance and overall taste. Enjoy switching up your office routing with some laid-back camaraderie and a whole lot of chef-approved pasta!
MENU
All necessary utensils will be provided by the chef. The venue is required to have access to sinks nearby, tables set-up to prep and garbage containers. Chefs are able to arrive a minimum of 30 minutes in advance.
Pasta Dough
With flour, egg, olive oil, salt and water
Marinara Sauce
With crushed tomatoes, onion, garlic, basil, oregano and salt
Alfredo Sauce
With heavy cream, garlic, butter, parmesan cheese and flour

Chef Catalina is a native northern Californian who discovered her passion for food while working in catering during her college years. Her extensive experience in the food industry includes roles as a lead cook, a catering manager, a special events coordinator and a cheese monger. Now, Chef Catalina brings her love of gourmet cuisine and her expertise in fine food preparation to her cooking classes.
