Just finished my first Japanese hand roll class with Catalina, and I’m leaving with a full belly and a big smile. Catalina was such a kind, genuine host and an excellent teacher. I had the best time and can’t wait to try more of her classes. Highly recommend! ☺️

Can’t say enough good things about the Tai cooking class, the instructor was fantastic, the setting was beautiful and very clean and expansive and lastly the food we created was absolutely delicious. So full of instructions, little tips and secrets and so much hands on. When you eat at the end you truly know you made the meal. Will for sure do another class with this same instructor.

Our experience with Chef Catalina was first class! We were part of a 5-person Spanish fare class in her home kitchen. The class was welcoming, informative, and tasted wonderful! We will certainly come back for more of her classes. Unfortunately the ClassPop side was not as good. I attempted to contact Chef Catalina three times about the menu due to food allergies. Finally I called ClassPop and they assured when we signed up the notes you can add about issues like this would be sent to Chef Catalina and she would adapt the menu. Upon arrival no such notes/information was forwarded to Chef Catalina. Luckily she was able to pivot/modify the menu/cooking process to accommodate our needs. If you are interested in a course from Chef Catalina maybe try through through CozyMeal.com who also books classes for her services!

Chef Catalina was great. The class was informative and fun. I wish the class was more hands on. The Class Pop site did not show the correct menu, we expected to be making squid ink paella and crème brule.

My husband Brian and I just experienced the Thai cooking class with 6 other lucky people. Not only was the class itself excellent, the dinner we had as a result of our efforts was one of the best meals I have ever eaten. Hats off to Chef Catalina.

I loved how skilled she was at letting people volunteer but also gently guiding people to get involved. All the food turned out amazing! I love how she explained why she chose which ingredients. Gifted this experience to my son and 2 of his friends for his 22nd birthday. They all had a blast and their smiles in the videos/pics they took made my mama heart glow. If this is your first cooking experience, the format has one cooking station and everyone in the class will participate in chopping, mixing, peeling, etc to make the 3 dishes as a whole. You can ask questions to the chef and learn tricks and tips. I enjoyed the class very much. It's a great way to learn new flavors and taste ingredients right then and there. A great way to enjoy the night by yourself or with a friend within a group

I love to cook and have always wanted to take on Thai food, but have been hesitant because I could never get the ingredients quite right. Chef Catalina broke down all barriers for me! First of all, she has an AMAZING teaching kitchen that is perfect for instruction. She was extremely organized - had all the ingredients laid out for our group of 7 so that we could easily work and watch. And, she was very knowledgable and professional. She explained what we were doing and why. When she spoke about the ingredients, she also had the packaging available so we could see what to purchase and, importantly, she told us where to find them and what to look for. I particularly liked that she did not "take over" and let the participants actually participate in the process! We made a balanced meal - spicy papaya salad, a vegetable curry and shrimp pad Thai. Everything was good and I feel confident that I can not only make everything again, but can now venture in the area of Thai cooking!

We had a good time and having only 4 people in the class was a bonus! Catalina was friendly and knowledgeable. The only reason why we gave 4 stars is because it would of been nice to have a recipe to take home to be able to make the dish on our own. I understand a lot of it is taste preference but to have a basic recipe would of be great!
