Team Building Activity: Authentic Italian Gnocchi

A true Italian cooking experience awaits you and your team in this authentic team building activity, led by Chef Yapo. With a bit of collaborative energy, you'll prepare a full-blown Italian meal, starting with a gnocchi and gnudi pasta using dough you'll make from scratch. Then, craft a rich and silky gorgonzola sauce and a hearty Bolognese sauce to top them with. And to bring a little sweetness to the mix, whip up a stracciatella gelato dessert that's sure to please their palates.


Roasted Garlic Buttered Baguette

Gnocchi and Gnudi Pasta Dough

 With all-purpose flour, egg, russet potatoes and ricotta cheese

Gorgonzola Sauce 

With cream and white wine

Bolognese Sauce 

With mirepoix, tomato, sausage and beef

Stracciatella Gelato 

With milk, heavy whipping cream, sugar, chocolate and vanilla

Chef Yapo is very knowledgeable about sushi and any other food. In this class, we each made one roll of maki sushi, and learned all the tricks.

The class was good. But i didnt like how it was two set of groups making the rolls. The 2nd group had to use the same vinegar for rice and same sheets. Class needs to be smaller and using clean materials. He also didnt encourage for ppl to go was their hands before. Class was two short. Wish we were able to cut the ingredients and cut the sushi. I feel that all i did was put rice and rolled. I expected to do the entire roll completely. From the cutting to prepping…
