Team Building Activity: The Great Team Pasta-Off With Chef Dix

Try something new with your group in this hands-on pasta-making team building activity.

Start by crafting fresh pasta dough from scratch, then roll, knead and shape it into perfect noodles. While the dough rests, you’ll prepare a classic marinara sauce using fresh tomatoes, garlic, basil and olive oil. For a fun finale, everyone will plate their pasta and see who can create the most eye-catching presentation. Whether you're with friends, family or celebrating something special with your teammates, it’s a delicious way to bond and make memories!

Chef Dix was very nice, however there was very limited instruction and the demonstrations that were done you were not able to see. It was disappointing that the description was made from scratch sushi but there was no explanation of how the rice was made other than in a rice cooker, the salmon was store bought vacuum packs from giant eagle as were all of the sauces, and there were two bowls with wet towels to wipe off your knife that was expected to be shared by everyone, did not seem like the most sanitary option. It was not even close to what we expected and ended up leaving after making the first roll.
