I had an excellent time with Chef Greg. I love how personable he is, and I loved hearing about how he became a chef. I think Chef Greg did an awesome job being able to critique us without making us seem like we're just doing a bad job all together. Sushi rolling is a tough skill, so I admire the patience Chef Greg had, because if he's teaching these classes for beginners every week, you need a lot of patience. haha. I enjoyed my time, and recommend taking Chef Greg's class - whatever culinary class he teaches.

I recently attended what can only be described as a culinary comedy extravaganza that left me in stitches (and with a questionable sushi roll). Firstly, the undercooked rice was a bold choice. I've always believed that al dente should be reserved for pasta, but clearly, this chef is a trendsetter. It added an element of surprise to each bite – you never knew if your teeth were going to meet fluffy perfection or a crunchy surprise. Bravo! The absence of plates was a stroke of avant-garde brilliance. Who needs the formality of porcelain when you can experience the delicate art of balancing sushi on a plastic tablecloth? It's the kind of experience that makes you question the very essence of tableware. Truly groundbreaking! Now, let's talk about our culinary guide, the maestro of confusion. The chef's apparent lack of expertise in sushi-making was nothing short of a performance art piece. It was as if he was discovering the art of rolling for the first time, right before our eyes. Kudos to him for embracing the spirit of improvisation! But here's the kicker – the comedic joy and laughter that ensued throughout the class were worth every penny. The chef's unintentional humor turned what could have been a disaster into a sidesplitting affair. I haven't laughed that hard since my last stand-up comedy show. In conclusion, if you're looking for a sushi-making class that transcends the boundaries of traditional culinary expectations, this is the one for you. It may not have been the masterclass in sushi perfection I anticipated, but the laughs, the rice surprises, and the absence of plates made it an experience I'll cherish forever. Who knew a sushi class could be so delightfully absurd? Highly recommended for those who appreciate a good culinary joke!

My wife and I had a delicious 4-course meal prepared and presented by Chef Avery. Every course was excellent, but my wife loved the scallops paired with pickled apple and fennel/parsley emulsion. My favorite was the chicken bao with chili oil, first course. I also appreciated that Chef Avery took time to work with us to ensure the menu could fit both our dietary restrictions and budget!

I requested Chef Avery's services for my boyfriend's surprise birthday in Kansas City. I told him what my boyfriend liked, and he delivered. The experience overall was AMAZING!!! He set our table so nicely and made sure we were comfortable the entire experience. No wait in between meals and the food was GOOD. Best part, they cleaned so well after themselves, everything looked exactly as it did when he arrived. We have already requested to book him again. 10/10

Maricarmen dishes were excellent, her use of different textures and flavors sets her food apart. Visually her food is appetizing, as she always takes her time in her presentation. Maricarmen has an eclectic style of cooking, being able to cook a variety of ethnic cuisines"

Chef Greg was proactive with his teaching skills as well as his interaction with my friends. Great food and presentation. A++!!!

It was fun! Just hard to hear the chef and see what we were supposed to be doing. But otherwise I would take another class!

Chef Sarah is awesome and very friendly but the class was a bit large and was very slow as she was by herself and had to hand out everything individually instead of it all being prepared already.

The class ended up being at a random dive bar, not horrible just a bit weird. The class felt like it could have easily been done in an hour instead of 2. The added conversation felt forced just so the class could make the full two hours. The quality of the food and materials was as expected, not obviously fresh but not going to make you sick. If the table was larger it would have also added to the experience. It was almost a juggling act or game of hot potato to get room to make the rolls. Chef Greg gave enough information to get the job done, and figure out how to make it at home. He did let us take home extra materials due to some no shows, which is highly appreciated and kind of him. I wouldn’t necessarily say this was a great class but it wasn’t bad either. Weird or awkward would be the best description.
