Guided by Instructor Steven, you’ll not only learn the elegant craft of wheel throwing, but you’ll also have the chance to create something truly special. After honing your pottery skills, the highlight of the class comes when you imprint your embrace onto a large, handcrafted vase made by the instructor. By hugging the vase, you'll leave a permanent mark, literally capturing a moment in time that will last forever.

Once your creations are complete, the instructor will finish and fire the pieces, including the personalized vase, which will be ready for pickup in 4-6 weeks. Shipping is available for an additional fee, making it easy to bring your masterpiece home no matter where you are.

Learn foundational techniques from Instructor Steven as he guides you through the wheel-throwing process.
Craft your own unique pottery pieces.

Victor was great. He was encouraging allowing space for repetition and fixe. He knew when to let you learn with your hands and knew when to lend a hand. I highly recommend this beginners class. You’ll need a few minutes after the class for clean up, and a change of clothes if you are going anywhere else. Also, it takes a few weeks for your piece to be ready to take home. We will be back with friends!

Victor taught our class. He presents as a kind, giving, happy person and listens to participant concerns and questions. His pace was quick but mainly to ensure we finished all three projects on time. I wish I lived closer so I could take more of his classes. We had a great time and learned a lot.

We had so much fun in Steven's class. He was very knowledgeable and helpful! My friends and I had never done anything like pottery before and we would definitely come back and do it again!!

My husband and I went to the clay throwing class for my birthday week and had so much fun! The instructor was very attentive and took their time to show us the steps to throwing clay. I wish we lived closer to take this class more often. My only suggestion would be to shorten it to making 2 pieces instead of 3. I wanted more time to work on my pieces.

Fun class, very casual and laid back atmosphere, nice to have unlimited balls of clay to play and practice with. Not a whole ton of individual guidance in honing our skills, more a group demonstration then go off and try it in your own vibe. Was told multiple times about chunky-looking pieces “it’s good the way it is, stop now before it gets messed up” so if you are a perfectionist this is not the class for you, but if you just want to have fun and get your hands used to touching clay it was great for that! Overall a good time :-)

I recommend taking classes and supporting this amazing place. Take your friends, have some fun and enjoy learning something about working with your hands. It’s a place to go and try something new and fun. They are very inclusive. I loved the experience.
