– Thinly sliced beef, chicken or pork (or baked or fried tofu for a vegetarian version)
– Soy sauce
– Sesame oil
– Light brown sugar
– Garlic
– Spinach

– Jasmine or white rice, cooked
– One egg per person
– Vegetable oil
– Seasoned nori, cut into strips
– Toasted sesame seeds
– Gochujang
– Rice wine vinegar (or white vinegar)
– English or Persian cucumber
– Green onions
– Napa cabbage
– Fresh ginger
– Bean sprouts

Kitchen Equipment

– Large cast iron or high-sided stainless steel skillet for the bibimbap
– Small skillet for the eggs
– Spatula for the eggs
– Three small bowls for mixing the banchan
– One medium bowl for the kimchi
– A few mixing spoons or forks
– Small serving bowls for the banchan and a dinner plate for the bibimbap
