Cooking Class: Enticing Appetizers With Zest and Spice
In this hands-on cooking class with Chef Mimi, you’ll craft classic appetizers that explode with complex, unique flavors. You’ll make an eclectic assortment of dishes, from sumptuous samosas to delightful egg rolls. Chef Mimi will also teach you how to make a zesty and addictive dipping sauce with red pepper and garlic.
Cooking classes on Classpop! are designed to be social events that do not require any previous experience. Guests are welcome to purchase beer to enjoy during the class.

The group really enjoyed the class!

While Chef's enthusiasm and tips were great, I'm dissuaded from taking another class because way too much time was wasted by having 22 attendees stand in line, multiple times during the session, for supplies that should have been provided at each table.

Chef Mimi was so nice and personable. It ended up being a small crowd, and she individualized it for us, let us take home a bunch of leftovers and had fun.

Meet your chef

Chef Mimi is an energetic cooking instructor who is passionate about cooking in general and Ethiopian/Eritrean cuisine in particular. Her long list of experience includes teaching cooking at community education classes in Minnesota as well as leading cooking classes around the Midwest and Southwest. Chef Mimi's culinary expertise spans cultures and includes everything from Mediterranean to Asian to southern food.
