Cooking Class: Make Maki Rolls Your Way
Join Chef Yapo as he leads you through the process of rolling your own sushi in this hands-on cooking class. You will learn to roll, cut, and present your own sushi rolls, as well as how to make your own sushi rice from scratch!
You'll make a maki roll featuring the freshest tuna, avocado, green onions and the right amount of spice to suit your taste. You'll even create a savory, vegetable-packed vegan sushi roll. Chef Yapo will teach you all about knife skills and flavor pairing so that you go home with plenty of new kitchen know-how. By the time you leave class, you will have the confidence to recreate your favorite rolls at home to enjoy by yourself or with dinner guests.
Cooking classes on Classpop! are designed to be social events that do not require any previous experience. Guests are welcome to purchase beer or other alcoholic drinks from the venue to enjoy during the class.

Chef Yapo is very knowledgeable about sushi and any other food. In this class, we each made one roll of maki sushi, and learned all the tricks.
