Join Chef Charlie for an exploration of culture through popular small plates using regional ingredients. Begin with a sweet and savory platter of dates stuffed with goat cheese and bacon as well as crisp crostini topped with shrimp and homemade romesco sauce. Prepare spicy papas bravas with a smoky aioli followed by creamy hummus with pita chips. For dessert, create tender caramelized maduros.

The experience with Chef Charlie was an in-home class, which we were not expecting when we went to book a class on Classpop, so we were excited to be able to have it in the comfort of our home. She brought all the necessary food and equipment, so if you don't have the things you think you need, it's no worry, she has you covered. We were able to participate, ask questions, and engage on any level we wanted and we learned some new recipes and picked up a few new ingredients after the class (we love to cook). Chef Charlie cleaned up and left, so we had a lovely tapas dinner for two alone together with no clean-up. It was a dream! This is a great gift idea to give a loved one a super special break.

Chef Charlie is wonderful! She is passionate about cooking and sharing her love of food with others. She shared a lot of helpful tips and techniques with us and we had a great time. I highly recommend hiring her as your next private chef and taking her classes if you have the chance!
