Cooking Class: Vegan-Style NOLA Feast

In this unique, hands-on cooking class with Chef Kayla, you’ll explore classic New Orleans cuisine with a vegan twist. You’ll create all plant-based savory and spicy deliciousness, starting with a creamy black bean soup loaded with zucchini and yellow squash. You’ll then prepare a heavenly okra with jasmine rice, tomato sauce and mushrooms. For dessert, Chef Kayla will teach you how to make a decadent bread pudding with vegan butter, oat milk, coconut oil and vanilla.

She specializes in authentic New Orleans cuisine, which also includes a variety of vegan and vegetarian options. In 2020, Chef Kayla opened a brick-and-mortar location and is currently in the process of opening her own restaurant.
