Learn to make classic gyoza with guidance from Chef Thomas in this fun cooking class.
You'll start by preparing a flavorful filling with ground pork or chicken, napa cabbage, garlic, ginger, scallions, soy sauce and sesame oil. Then, you'll practice folding and pleating dumpling wrappers so they seal properly and cook evenly. You’ll also learn the traditional pan-sear and steam method that gives gyoza their signature crispy bottom and tender top. Along the way, Chef Thomas will share tips on balancing seasoning, achieving the right texture and working efficiently with dumpling wrappers.
