Chef Stephanie will guide you step by step as you fold, layer and shape dough to get that signature flaky, buttery croissant texture. During this class, you'll create three irresistible classics, starting with a plain croissant made with flour, yeast and butter. After that, you'll add chocolate to the mix with a chocolate croissant, then finish with a delicious almond croissant topped with toasted almonds. Chef Stephanie received extensive culinary training in France before finding her niche as an instructor at the Art Institute, where she taught culinary arts for eight years. She focuses on kitchen fundamentals that emphasize technique as well as fostering confidence and creativity by exploring an array of ingredients and flavors that are both traditional and exotic. Chef Stephanie’s classes promise to be fun, exciting and memorable for her students.
