We had a great time at the sushi class! Sara was a fantastic instructor — fun, engaging, and made it easy to follow along. It was interactive, full of laughs, and a perfect group experience. Highly recommend Sara and any Classpop class!

Unfortunately, both my guest and myself were underwhelmed with this class for a few reasons. The class began with the instructor arriving/setting up late, to which she did acknowledge and apologize for. However, the disappointment continued with the type of sushi we made being completely different than what was stated in the programming online. The class stated that we'd make a crab mix roll and a salmon roll, but there was no salmon. Instead, we made shrimp tempura. Both my guest and myself had planned our meals (we count macros) around the fact that the class was making salmon. Eating something battered/fried was very different than what we were planning for/expecting. Additionally, this wasn't acknowledged/brought up by the instructor at all. We also were hoping for more insight/history about sushi along while learning to make the sushi. The instructor very briefly talked about sushi rice and that was the extent of it. I'm unsure of her genuine knowledge/experience with sushi making (she mentioned about 1 year exp) as being anything more than a quick buck, and I wouldn't recommend this class or take it again.
