I had such a great time at the sushi-making class with Dylan! He was very knowledgeable and shared personal experiences that made the class feel engaging and authentic. Everything we needed was provided, from fresh ingredients to all the tools, so we could really focus on learning. He explained each step clearly, was patient throughout, and made the whole experience fun and easy to follow. I left feeling confident and excited to try making sushi on my own. Highly recommend!

Chef Dylan was very personable and knowledgeable. However, the description of the event was a bit misleading. It states we will be doing "a full meal you make yourself". We made the dough for the pasta, rolled it out and cut it into the noodle strips. That was all we did. Chef Dylan cooked the pasta, brought a marinara sauce he made before the event, he put our cooked noodles in the heated sauce, put it in a bowl and finished it for us with parmesan cheese, chopped basil and drizzled basil infused oil over the top. That was the "meal we made". I was expecting to be doing more to make the meal. Honestly, noodles does not a "meal" make. I was also disappointed from a sanitary stand point. No hand washing after cracking eggs, no recommendation to wash hands before beginning the dough. We were all crammed together shoulder to shoulder. I have no doubt Chef Dylan is very talented unfortunately this wasn't what I was anticipating.

The venue was loud, making it difficult to hear the chef. I would have appreciated receiving the printed recipes. Additionally, we needed containers for the sushi. I felt compelled to eat both rolls, even though I was already full, to avoid wasting them. The rolls were tasty. I think adding cream cheese would have enhanced their flavor.

We had the most wonderful time start to finish! Chef Dylan was so personable and took the time to answer all of the questions that we brought to the class about how to perfect our pasta. The class was pasted nicely so we could visit with other attendees and enjoy every part of the pasta making process. We left feeling confident that we could repeat the process on our own. We highly recommend this class to others!
