He’s also a culinary entrepreneur, running a private chef and catering company. Chef Jalen’s experience working on the East Coast eventually led him to Charlotte, where he now happily shares his passion for international cuisine with students and aspiring chefs of all skill levels.

We really enjoyed our class with Chef Jalen! He was very knowledgeable and organized. He was such a good teacher as he kept us engaged and answered all of our questions. We learned some great new tips and techniques that will help us recreate these wonderful dishes. I highly recommend Chef Jalen to all those in Charlotte!
