Affectionately known by his patrons as "Bowtie Lui," Mixologist Luis earned the title of Orange County Weekly's Best Bartender in 2019. Getting his start in a quaint hotel lobby lounge in Irvine, CA, Mixologist Luis began earning himself a following of dedicated customers. His background has involved working at an organic Mexican restaurant while bar boasting an impressive library of agave-based spirits. There, he was tasked with brainstorming innovative new craft cocktail ideas.

Luis was fun, super energetic and you can tell he is very passionate about his mixologist craft. He was very informative about the history of the drink and taught me how to make an Old Fashioned with a unique twist. He even threw some flames in the mix making it even more entertaining. Would 100% recommend taking this class.
