Team Building Activity: Pasta Party With a Competitive Twist
Invite your team to discover their new favorite pasta recipes in this exciting team building activity. Chef Jimmy will lead your crew through an engaging experience that will strengthen communication skills and teamwork, all while providing the group with a feast of chef-approved eats!
Begin with a demonstration of how to craft homemade pasta by hand and make three classic sauces from scratch. Next, your team will split into groups and work together to roll and shape their own fresh pasta dough. Then, they’ll use a variety of ingredient options to create their own unique sauces. The winning dish will be selected based on appearance, creativity and overall taste. Even if you lose, you'll still enjoy a winning experience!

Chef Jimmy was awesome and led a Sushi Making great class. He was very knowledgeable while making sushi making approachable. My husband and I had a blast. Look forward to another class from Chef Jimmy.

Meet your chef

After completing military service, Chef Jimmy Lê enrolled in culinary school. Upon completion of his culinary apprenticeship, he earned the title of "certified culinarian" from the American Culinary Federation. He then went on to work at some of the most prestigious properties in the country, including the Ritz Carlton Hotel and the Allison to name a few. He also acted as a culinary instructor at the secondary and post-secondary levels. In 2013, Chef Lê was deemed one of the "Best Chefs in Louisiana" and voted among his chef peers as a "young gun".
