Team Building Activity: Team-Building Pasta Battle

Swap a boring team building activity for a hands-on cooking competition focused on classic Italian cooking staples. Chef Natalie will provide your team with an expert's lesson in making fresh pasta before letting everyone loose to make dishes of their own. Whether you prefer a classic angel hair pasta with creamy Alfredo or a vegetarian-friendly option, turn the blank canvas of fresh pasta into a masterpiece!


The group will split into teams and work together to compete for the title of Pasta Prodigy. Friendly competition will invigorate the room as everyone combines their unique skills to create a stand-out dish with their choice of pasta shape, sauce and toppings. In the end, dishes will be judged on creativity, appearance and overall quality. Let the team have some quality fun and see who will earn office bragging rights!


MENU

All necessary utensils will be provided by the chef. The venue is required to have access to sinks nearby, tables set-up to prep and garbage containers. Chefs are able to arrive a minimum of 30 minutes in advance.


Pasta Dough

With flour, egg, olive oil, salt and water


Marinara Sauce

With crushed tomatoes, onion, garlic, basil, oregano and salt


Alfredo Sauce

With heavy cream, garlic, butter, parmesan cheese and flour


Various "mix-in" Ingredients

With chicken, sausage, shrimp, mushrooms, spinach and more

The class was excellent. I wasn't sure at first, when it was inside of a brewery, but it worked out to be a great environment. I did leave, a bit hungry and I just wish we had time to make more ravioli because of how tasty it was! Overall Chef Natalie was an excellent instructor, and kudos to the brewery!
