With the dough prepared in advance, you'll focus on gentle sculpting techniques such as pressing, pinching and layering. Create seasonal flower and nature motifs while learning how color, shape and symbolism influence each design. Trained in baking, pastry and traditional Japanese confectionery, she holds Level 1 certification in kazari maki-zushi instruction. She leads hands-on workshops across New York City, teaching guests to transform sushi into colorful, artful designs while sharing Japanese culinary traditions through approachable, creative instruction.
