Chef Iliana was very friendly and is clearly a great chef, but I hate to say I was disappointed by this class. For how much it cost, I was surprised by the low quality. We didn’t make the tomato sauce (which was advertised in the class description— she brought it pre-made) and the tools we used for cooking were just the contents of a plastic to-go cutlery set (and the included salt and pepper pack was the only seasoning option). There wasn’t much instruction given, either, so the gnocchi my friend and I made turned out quite large and dense. It felt more like a fun social activity rather than a class to gain cooking skills. The pictures on the website are also misleading… I hate to leave a bad review but I also don’t like to feel ripped off… so here we are.

Chef Iliana was extremely knowledgeable, warm, and a fun teacher! Our group had a blast, and I’m so excited to go home and try to make this dish on my own!!!

This was very disappointing, after arriving right before the class begun the owner of the bar saying they were not sure if the class was happening because they have not heard from the chef. Eventually someone comes and has to set up after the event has started. It was not Chef Iliana but her gf who was there to lead the class. After starting late we did not do much, but there was not enough dumpling presses for all of us, so my partner and I did not have the proper material the rest of the class did. After being the first ones to turn in our dumplings we did not get them back until THE ENTIRE CLASS HAD EATEN AND LEFT. Every single person had left the building but us, they did not realize that ours was not cooking. Usually they said they use bamboo steamers but this time was just tin foils and flames, but ours did not work. After the chef showed up covered in glitter from the people she met on the train, even though we were told she was late due to traffic the class had been going on for two hours. She had told us that our dumplings were falling apart and she would have instructed us to make them differently if she was here, but she was not? They are very nice people but it was very unprofessional and not organized at all.

Such an incredible experience for my partner and i’s anniversary! Chef was so kind and taught us a lot about food at home! Can’t wait to have my dumplings for lunch tomorrow!

Felt extremely disappointed and overcharged by this class. The teaching part was extremely simplistic, the amount of food was paltry, the space itself felt extremely low rent, and overall the experience was a huge let down. This class needs to be either rebuilt from the ground up or completely cancelled.

we took this class as a team building event and Liliana did a great job keep us engaged and help us all connect more through making dumplings. We made steam dumplings but wish we also had the option to make fried dumplings but otherwise it was a great class.

Chef Iliana is wonderful. Venue was too loud. We sat in the back of a restaurant close to the DJ. Venue felt unsanitary for making food. Also I could see spit coming out of Chef Iliana’s mouth and landing on food. She spoke so close to the table where the food was and people were sitting. Not the most sanitary. I am sure that she would have spoke from further away if the room wasn’t so loud.

Went to Iliana's Dumpling making class for a date night- Me and my partner absolutely loved every second of it. She is very organised and on point with all the arrangements. Break down of all steps make it very easy to follow instructions and get the yummiest dumplings as end result. She is very friendly and answers as many questions as you have. Overall it was a really fun class and cant wait to do my next class with her.

BEST CLASS EVER!!!!!!!! i cannot even put into words how awesome our experience was. we did the beginner sushi making class with Chef Iliana, and it was incredible! Iliana was soo kind, patient, fun, & knowledge. we got a great lesson and a delicious meal to go along with it! 100000/10!⭐️

Iliana was absolutely amazing! She had a wonderful way of balancing personal conversation and cooking instruction. She has so much to offer as both a person and a chef. I am not a chef to begin with but, her class truly inspired me to be more experimental with food. We will be seeking out more classes with her!

The venue was nice, and we had a good time, but the class didn't deliver for the money. I learned almost nothing about making sushi. It seemed like the chef went to Whole Foods on the way to the class to pick up ingredients. 90 minutes into the session, and we still hadn't eaten. The ingredients were served on paper plates and for $55 each, we didn't have enough ingredients to make the two rolls.

Fantastic, my wife and I booked chef ili for a private cooking class dinner. I wanted to surprise my wife with a class since she has been on a binge of learning new tricks and trades. Low and be hold chef ili was recommended to me by a colleague of mine who hired her for two previous events he held. She came in with her team and turned our kitchen and dining room into a beautiful foodie oasis, where she set up 3 different cooking stations for us to prepare our own 3 course tasting menu. It was such a blast and my wife had the time of her life. We will be hiring chef ili and her team again.

Absolutely Amazing! Chef ili catered a private event for my family and we had such a great time. She not only cooked all the food but she also crafted a delicious cocktail for us with the liquor we provided. Chef ili and her team truly took the time to cater to every family member by remembering each persons choice of drink to passing extra bites after dinner. We even went ahead and pre-booked a private cooking class birthday dinner for my sister. Thanks a million to chef ili and her amazing team for making all of us feel important that day!!

She also travels to other states, as i was hosting a party in Florida and she gladly came and cooked up a storm for my 60 guest ! I appreciate her hard work.

I am so happy that I attended the Chef ili’s cooking class at the Manna of Life Food Pantry. The class was fun, informative and we learned so much in a short time. Chef ili focused on the foods that the pantry provides. One of the recipes was chicken nuggets that were made with canned chicken. Her recipe was easy to follow and the nuggets were very tasty and well made. I was not sure what to do with the canned chicken but she gave us many ideas on what to do with the product. At a previous class she taught us how to make a very tasty sautéed cabbage. Chef ili enjoys teaching and her love of cooking is very contagious. She teaches with passion and wants us to learn how to make better choices when we are preparing meals. Chef ili is very professional and her expertise is very evident. Love her classes.

We had the privilege of partnering up with Chef Ili for our spring 2022 season providing us nutritional meals, snacks and drinks for our soccer teams. I also personally had the privilege of getting meals for myself and as always she amazes our taste buds. Chef Ili always communicate with us to make sure we had what we needed whether it be sufficient if the teams enjoyed the meals and also very punctual with delivery. She stays hands on with you exceeding your expectations Id recommend Chef Ili over and over again never disappointed. I personally have eaten veggies and foods I wouldn’t have before but anything she touches is a hit!

Chef Ili cooked for our private events to celebrate our one year anniversary. She outdid herself and truly catered to each individual that attended the 20 person party. Iliana was super energetic and had everyone engaged. I recommend everyone to her, she truly makes the best experience!
