In this hands-on class, you’ll discover the secrets of creating several local classics, starting with crispy fried green tomatoes, served atop cheesy grits with a tangy remoulade. Then, it's an introduction to the seafood of the bayou with phyllo cups filled with shrimp and crab. And a dramatic dessert of flaming bananas foster served over vanilla ice cream is sure to set your heart alight.

Her love for teaching the joys of cooking to budding chefs of all ages led her to create and operate a culinary school for kids and teens.
