Pottery Class: Team-Building Pottery 101 at 24th St Studio
Are you and your team interested in trying out pottery classes for a unique team building experience? In this hands-on class, you'll learn the basics of getting started with pottery from master potters and get to try your hand at creating pottery yourself. First, you and your team will learn introductory throwing techniques for the potter's wheel.
Then, you'll have three pounds of clay and use of studio tools to create your own works of pottery with the instructor's guidance. You'll get to keep three items, which will be fired and glazed for you after class and ready for pickup in 3-5 weeks!
Kids are welcome if an adult guardian is registered and participating in the class with them.

Victor was great. He was encouraging allowing space for repetition and fixe. He knew when to let you learn with your hands and knew when to lend a hand. I highly recommend this beginners class. You’ll need a few minutes after the class for clean up, and a change of clothes if you are going anywhere else. Also, it takes a few weeks for your piece to be ready to take home. We will be back with friends!

Victor taught our class. He presents as a kind, giving, happy person and listens to participant concerns and questions. His pace was quick but mainly to ensure we finished all three projects on time. I wish I lived closer so I could take more of his classes. We had a great time and learned a lot.
