Pottery Class: Carve a Sgraffito Plate
Join Instructor Naama for a hands-on sgraffito workshop and explore a timeless ceramic carving technique.
Working on a handmade, leather-soft clay form prepared in advance, you’ll carve through a rich slip surface to reveal the natural white clay beneath. Create striking contrasts, delicate illustrations, geometric patterns or meaningful words as you transform clay into a one-of-a-kind functional artwork. Leave with a stunning 10-inch black-and-white plate designed for everyday use. No drawing experience is needed, bring a picture to trace and create your design with confidence.
