Discover pottery in all its glory with an engaging introductory pottery class. Instructor Steven will teach you the fundamentals of working with clay. You'll become familiar with throwing on a potter's wheel, honing your skills with up to three pounds of clay. This class accommodates all levels with no prior experience necessary; just come with a willingness to learn and connect with the clay. Kids are also encouraged to join, as long as they are accompanied by an adult.

We had so much fun in Steven's class. He was very knowledgeable and helpful! My friends and I had never done anything like pottery before and we would definitely come back and do it again!!

My husband and I went to the clay throwing class for my birthday week and had so much fun! The instructor was very attentive and took their time to show us the steps to throwing clay. I wish we lived closer to take this class more often. My only suggestion would be to shorten it to making 2 pieces instead of 3. I wanted more time to work on my pieces.

Fun class, very casual and laid back atmosphere, nice to have unlimited balls of clay to play and practice with. Not a whole ton of individual guidance in honing our skills, more a group demonstration then go off and try it in your own vibe. Was told multiple times about chunky-looking pieces “it’s good the way it is, stop now before it gets messed up” so if you are a perfectionist this is not the class for you, but if you just want to have fun and get your hands used to touching clay it was great for that! Overall a good time :-)

I recommend taking classes and supporting this amazing place. Take your friends, have some fun and enjoy learning something about working with your hands. It’s a place to go and try something new and fun. They are very inclusive. I loved the experience.
