Photography Class: Master Your Camera Controls - Nasher Sculpture Center
This photography class at the Nasher Sculpture Center helps you master your camera controls while exploring one of Dallas’s most visually engaging locations.
Set among world-class modern and contemporary sculptures in the heart of the Dallas Arts District, you'll learn how to take full control of your camera’s settings and controls, including aperture, shutter speed, ISO, white balance and focus modes. A skilled photographer guides you through the basics, then leads you into the sculpture garden and galleries for hands-on practice. As you work in the field, you’ll play with light, consider objects in motion and learn how to use blur to enhance your images. With natural light, bold textures and dramatic forms all around, you will gain confidence using your camera in manual mode and learn to capture intentional, compelling photos in a stunning and creatively rich setting.
