Photography Class: Composition in the Field - Marin County Lagoon Park
This fun photography class at Marin County Lagoon Park is the ideal setting to learn more about your camera and how to frame amazing shots.
The class begins with a lecture from an experienced photography teacher. A stroll through the lush landscaping of Lagoon Park and a visit to the majestic Frank Lloyd Wright architecture of Marin County Civic Center follows the talk. Photograph magnificent interiors, beautiful water features and lush green spaces as you learn about the rule of thirds, symmetry, depth, layers and negative space. You'll learn to fill the frame to eliminate distractions and apply the golden ratio to divide the frame into a spiral grid based on the Fibonacci sequence. The small-group setting means plenty of one-on-one attention from your instructor and the skills learned apply to beginners and advanced photographers using DSLR or mirrorless cameras.

Richard patiently walked us through the steps and gave great instruction. I finally know how to navigate my camera that I've been using on auto for ten years. I'd definitely recommend this course to others
