In this hands-on cooking class with Chef Landi, you’ll learn the technique for making gnocchi from scratch and prepare a trio of delicious sauces in the culinary tradition of sun-soaked southern Italy.
You’ll make a perfect potato dough before learning the proper way to cut and cook it into authentic gnocchi. Then, you’ll create a fresh caprese salad and sauces to top your gnocchi. You’ll make a rose sauce with marinara and heavy cream, an intriguing blue cheese sauce with cinnamon and a classic marinara sauce with basil. Your lesson finishes up with a silky vanilla crème brûlée.

He was entertaining and a good storyteller. He demonstrated many cooking techniques and allowed the opportunity to perform the techniques during meal preparation.

Chef Landi's career began over 20 years ago in Italy, where he started as a server before quickly advancing to the kitchen. The skills he learned there were fundamental to his success as a chef. He discovered a passion for teaching after relocating to the U.S. in 2001 where he continues his dual career as a chef at an Argentinian steakhouse and an acclaimed culinary instructor.
