In this traditional Mexican-style cooking class with Chef Juan you will learn how to assemble classic shrimp tacos from scratch. The perfect taco always starts with the tortilla.
Begin the class by learning how to combine the right amount of masa harina with salt and water to create homemade corn tortillas. Next, you will load your corn tortillas with mouthfuls of flavor by assembling a filling of savory shrimp, assorted vegetables and tangy crema.

It was ok. It wasn't managed well. I think it might've been the chefs first time or something the sous chef kinda went behind him and made shit happen lol. It was crowded there were 14 people and only 2 stations. It took FOREVER! There wasn't enough shrimp for everyone. I took my taco to go bc I was tired (taste 6/10). Overall the class was okay I'd say about a 4.5/10 experience. It would have been better if there were more stations and better preparation on the chefs part. Otherwise the chef was nice. And tried his best, class was engaging and I learned a bit.

Chef Juan has a passion for preparing food from scratch, which he imbues into his classes with energy and insight. Always the teacher, Chef Juan's desire to create a learning environment means you can expect a comfortable, open dynamic in his classes.
